Horseless Rally
May 1st, Satuday, 9-12, Phoenix Rising Horse Farm, North Smithfield, RI
$20/competitor
Basically eventing and quiz rally combined- but the "eventing" part is all done without horses- so you run the dressage tests (in pairs), jump stadium and compete cross country. There are also stations to visit as a club to answer questions about rally rules, first aid, bandaging, tralering, etc. It's a great way to get acquainted with a rally before actually going to one with your horse!

HDA Dressage Schooling Show
May 2nd, Sunday, all day, Briggs Stalbes, Hanover, MA                                                                       This will serve as a great prep for those interested in riding in dressage rally. Anyone interested in using a FEC School horse who has not competed one off property before needs to attend this event to help prepare for the rally. But it also gives you a chance to head down the centerlin (with some help in warm-up) before you go off on your own at rally.  -Entries Close 4/23

5/16: SNER Dressage Prep Clinic @ JWU
Taught by Andrea Beukema- $40?
contact Lindsey for more info on this

Dressage Rally
May 30th, Sunday, all day, Johnson and Wales Equestrian Center, Rehoboth, MA
$60/rider, $30/Stable Manager (SM)
Riders are on teams of 3-4 with on SM/team. The SM is a non-riding member who help hold horses, tack up, makes sure people are on time to their tests/inspections, etc. Riders ride 2 tests of their choice. No parents/coaches are allowed to help them during the day- they need to work together to accomplish their goals! Parents only need to volunteer for a small portion of the day (the jobs are easy! ex: gate keeper (opening and closing a gate for riders)).

Tetrathalon Rally
June 5-6th,Hosted by the White Mountain Region. Plainfield, NH at Ring Brook Farm
This is not one of our regular rallies, but I thought I would mention it here. Tetrathalon is the same idea as a "triathalon" only this rally includes: Riding (a show jumping course), swimming, running, and shooting (like archery, but with a pistol). There is some interested from other members of our region to do some preps for these events, so if you are interested please let me know. Please see the TETRATHLON RB HERE for requirements. Flatlands school horses would not be able to attend this event but it would make a great field trip- ask Lauren for more details (she went there last year)

Show Jumping Rally
July 25th, Sunday, all day, Briggs Stable, Hanover, MA $60/rider, $30/SM
Same idea as dressage rally, only the rally is all jumping! They do 2-3 rounds of their choice.

Eventing Rally
August 8th, Sunday, all day, Flatlands Equestrian Center, Rehoboth, MA $60/rider, $30/SM
Same idea as the other rallies only this one is a Horse Trials with Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross-country. All levels.
